I like the guy at the sandwich shop a lot for no good reason. And my boss and coworkers know so they make fun of me. It makes ordering/flirting quite awkward when your boss is standing behind you in line making jokes.

I've been in kind of a funk lately and I've been skipping various social events...of course, instead of asking what's wrong, my co-worker friends just assume I'm being "lame" and get mad at me for not going. Thanks for your concern, guys. So glad I've made some new, nicer friends these past few months!!

Thanks for the support! I still don't have any plan, but I'm starting to look at the class list. Do they just try to make this all too overwhelming and stressful and confusing? 'Cause it is. I'm not sure what I'm taking yet, so I'll probably start with general classes and hopefully find something that I really want to learn, too. I definitely want to start slowly and take it one term at a time.

My confession is I'm not totally stoked about this, which makes me feel like a whiner because I should want to learn and I should be thankful for the chance to go to school. I'm just not quite there yet

I confess a part of me doesn't want to be in charge of our 4 yr old and 7 month old. I love my husband and kids, it's just sooo exhausting, all the time. It's the best and the worst! Sometimes I want to just go travel by myself.

Can we pretend? If I were to go somewhere, where would that be? Where would you guys go if you could?

I would take my car, drive down to CA take a hard left through the Southwest States, head towards Savannah, GA. Then head all the way up the coast to Maine.
Of course if I had more money, start in Amsterdam, enjoy a few days there, then Paris, The Mediterranean, Greece, Morracco. Then end it somewhere on a beach to finish relaxing before I go home again. ahhhh...

So I joined a band and it's been pretty great. Making new friends is even better. But one of girls that I've come to know the best is dealing with her dad's suicide 2 yrs ago. It was bad. I don't know what to say most of the time when she says something about it, so I don't. I feel so bad for her and her family. But now, seeing this, is bringing back all the ghosts (so to speak) of people I've lost too. Things I've delt with are all piling on me. The anniversary of 2 of them is feb 15&16. It just sucks.

I decided I was going to see the world alphabetically - starting with Argentina, Brazil, and China. Then, it appeared that that might be a little ambitious, so I decided I would start with Alaska, Bermuda, Connecticutt. Then I pared it down to Atlanta, Bend and Chicago. Now I'm down to Azle, Benbrook and Colleyville - all about 20 minutes from my house. I guess the next thing is to bring it down to street level...........

Yes, I'm coming for the symphony show - but I'm arriving Friday afternoon and leaving Saturday afternoon. I don't know what I was thinking. From the time that smallred told me about the concert until I had purchased my ticket and flight was about 10 minutes. On the positive side, I think I'm going to be sitting practically on the stage. Hope I get to see you while I'm there.

Damn it. I've tried all day to not be irritated. I've eaten 1,000 extra calories and it hasn't helped. I'm moving on to booze.

My girlfriend made me a plate of delicious chocolate amaretto almond fudge. The NICE thing to do would be to bring it in to work to share with my office mates. But I really don't like them that much. So I'm going to slowly but surely eat it all myself.
