Congrats! You have a long road ahead but it will be worth it in the end. Just remember...the RNs have been doing this longer than you, so listen to them....trust me. Our least favorite residents are the cocky ones who think they know it all. We usually let them fall flat on their face to let 'em know they don't know it all. (I could tell you some stories of stuff our residents DIDN'T know...like female anatomy, and what we did to them so they wouldn't "f" things up!)(but don't listen to me...I'm just an uneducated ED Tech who's been doing this for a while.
