I watched my daughter jump into huge piles of leaves for over an hour today. I would have done it too but I was afraid I would fall asleep once I laid down. LOL :)

Why is today a good day for you?

Today is a good day because the girl I assist came back. I spend my 6th period as an aid for disabled students, and shes been sick for over 3 weeks. she came back today though.

:]

Mel, im always afraid to jump in leaves around here, cause theres slugs and the leaves are always a nice slimy home for them. but we've had a fairly dry fall so that sounds like fun!

Today is a good day for me because it's sunny and cool out - Fall is in Full Swing Here!

It's also a good day for me because it's NOT Monday  and is one day closer to Friday.

And....today is great day...because WXPN is playing "Fall Apart Again" at 8:00 AM while I am drinking my coffee and prepping for my busy day.

What better way to start the day, huh?

Today is a great day because "it's not Monday" - I second that, Holly! Also, because I'm going to see the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D after work tonight. I am SO excited! I have had "this is Halloween, this is Halloween" in my head for a few days now.

And yes, I'm 24.

I love Nightmare Before Christmas! Disneyland has a holiday overlay on the Haunted Mansion for 3 months a year and it's one of the main reasons why we always visit during the fall. We're total NBC freaks. LOL :)

Today is a great day because my dad's birthday is tomorrow! (I know that's not today) but, he was able to get off work tom. and he told me we are going to see a concert in Knoxville tomorrow night! Yeah, I love going to concerts with my dad- he always drives, stops at a coffeeshops, and never ditches me the night of a concert like friends do sometimes. I'm pretty excited. Another road trip for dad and me!

Oh and he also is trying to get off work so we can go "visit" family in Baltimore close to the Birchmere concert date. We're only using the family bit as an excuse to drive so far.

Yeah, I'm pretty fond of him . I'm really close to my mom too. In fact, I've been trying to teach myself how to play "Downpour" on my guitar so I could sing it to 'em on their anniversary. Kinda cheesy and I know I won't sound anywhere close to as good as Brandi but, I truly love my parents and owe a lot to them. My whole family is really close- I don't know where'd I be without them or worse yet, who'd I be without them- scary thought, eh?

Happy Anniversary! That is so amazing. My parents have been together for like 34 years of something like that. And you have been for 26! Wow, I pray that when I'm married it will be as long and as wonderful as that. I wish happiness to you, truly I do  .

Not to take away from GR8BCB's 26 year anniversary, but I just wanted to say that The Nightmare Before Christmas was A-MAZING in 3-D. I do recommend it.

Now, back to GR8BCB.

Today is Great! It's my dad's birthday! I'm stuck at school for the next couple of hours and I won't see him until we drive to Knoxville tonight....but, I am so excited. I love birthdays (not really my own, but others) because it's the most selfless holiday anyone can experience. For one day someone is noticed and applauded just because they are them while no one else can claim the praise. So yeah! Happy Birthday to my daddio.

Oh and I should mention that the only person on this forum besides me that knows my dad is snowshoe; however, my dad is a big Brandi fan and I have caught him venturing over to this site and the main site a time or two  , so I think he might be acquainted with some of us here. He's a great guy and he is always willing to drive many hours so that I can go to see Brandi live. Who can beat that, eh?

Today is a great day because my mother woke me up holding a Starbucks coffee just for me. That has never happened before. Pretty cool.

Oh and because I got stuck at my brother's school (which is actually in a church) so we spent like 30 minutes playing on the sit n' spins in the preschool nursery. My big butt didn't fit but, I made it work anyway and I ended up getting so nauseous and I laughed so hard. My little brother and I just laid down in the middle of the room watching the ceiling spin in our dizziness. (Some of you may or may not know but, my little brother is thirteen and has major mood swings like most middle schoolers do. He hasn't laughed and been silly with me in literally months). The moment was great  .
